Early start from Dob Gill car park.
The Helvellyn ridge snow covered and under cloud.
Climbing up through the forest by the side of Dob Gill.
Arriving at Harrop Tarn. Two hinds are foraging across the water.
At first they are unaware that I'm watching.
Then the games up as one of them sees me.
Dob Gill outflow from the tarn.
The deer move off along the forest edge.
Occasionally stopping and looking in my direction.
After a while they merge into the pines.
Tarn Crag reflection.
Tarn Crag reflection.
Tarn Crag reflection.
Tarn Crag reflection.
Harrop Tarn.
Leaving Harrop Tarn behind to climb up to Wythburn Fell.
Gaining height and Blencathra comes into view.
The sun is now beginning to hit the higher ground behind the tarn.
And catch the edge of Tarn Crags.
Looking along Thirlmere towards Blencathra.
